This is a favorite “peace” of path at Natural Bridge State Park, Slade, KY.   Sitting on one of these fallen boulders, listening to breezes brush the treetops, it is easy to get lost in the sweet whisper of the Holy Spirit.

Where do I begin?

One step at a time…

Hello, friend. My name is Jacquie. I’ve accepted and rejected many labels in my lifetime, but this one, I will cherish for eternity:  I am a child of God.

This blog contains revelations and musings along my spiritual walk, accentuated by an overwhelming appreciation for the love and beauty with which my God has surrounded me, and through which He speaks to me. I’ve navigated some steep cliffs, and fought my way through some dense thickets, with the help of my Savior, and the adventure continues.

Won’t you join me?

My dad always tells me, “Jac, you have a lot of words.” So, like the sinful woman in Luke 7, I’m offering Jesus what I have.

Thanks, Dad!

Has fear or any of its aliases (i.e., anxiety, depression, addiction, pride) ever swallowed you up?

Have you found yourself attempting to adjust to, or tolerate, a life filled with dread and despair?

I understand. REALLY. I do.

Listen.

You don’t have to take that trail. There is another route – one that forges through the tangled underbrush and opens up to elevations far above the fear! This is the way I found, or rather, the Way that found me…the Way, the Truth, and the Life – the saving grace of Jesus Christ!

This is me and my husband, Jim.  He is a very tangible manifestation of the love that my Father has for me, and I couldn’t possibly have an “About Page” that didn’t have him in it.  We are one!

The Spirit of Truth is the Trail Guide.

I walk. He speaks. I listen. I write.

This is the path I have chosen, and it has brought me to reservoirs of peace and joy that I never thought possible. My prayer is that you will join me on this journey, as we yield to the gentle guidance of the Holy Spirit and His wise ways. Every footfall holds endless potential for both contentment and adventure, when we place our hand in His. Come on, let’s delight in The Peace of the Path!
